Zeus Zeus was the god of the sky and ruler of the Olympian gods. Zeus overthrew his Father Cronus He then drew lots with his brothers Poseidon and Hades. Zeus won the draw and became the supreme ruler of the gods. He is lord of the sky, the rain god. His weapon is a thunderbolt which he hurls at those who displease him. He is married to Hera  but, is famous for his many affairs  . He is also known to punish those that lie or break oaths.What made this god powerful and respected was he had the power of lightning and he was the one who took down Cronus and became the god of all the gods who ruled Mount Olympus  What I believe as this god is that is the best and most respected god because he took over his father and did not get eaten like his siblings but he was strong enough to free his siblings and got to take over his fathers throne.Why I would respect this god is because he is very great at his powers and he is very strong in his head and out .

    California Cruise Ship Saved

    This morning two family contest winners board a luxury cruise ship.The brunner family and the johnson family win there free cruise ride.The 3rd day of the cruise ride ship suddenly goes of course and the captain of the ship runs away from the captains room and hides himself because of unknown area.

        Joey states,’’while we were on the ship I was talking to my sister and that second the ship seemed to crash and suddenly stop.’’ This ship is in deep trouble.Joey’s description of the crash the ship was moving like a normal ship and the trip was going perfectly fine until the ship strikes into a big boulder and everyone on the ship falls onto the cruise floor.

     

          How did all of you survive the crash?   

         Susan says,”Well this giant god of the sea rises and he moves our ship away from the crash location using a great force of water.”This sea god’s name was poseidon.He is the god of the sea.He uses the water to save us.He moves the ship with the water and pushes away from the boulders and then we safely pushes us back on course.

       Apparently these are extremely lucky.

Down A Dark Hall

The book is about this girl named kit and her parents are going away for a honeymoon,And they decide that they are going to be alone at there honeymoon.So what they decide they do is that they drop kit off at a boarding school called Blackwood but when kit sees it she thinks that this place is evil..But what kit does not understand is that why her friend tracy is not accepted because they are equally smart.But there are only four girls at this school and three teachers and they are two that are related the most creepy teacher is madame Duret and she is like an evil person.What happens at this school is that they are possessed by famous people from the past and have died.So what happens 3 of the girls try to escape and keep trying until they can get out.1 of the girls has gone crazy because of being possessed and will never come out of her room.

What I think about this book is that it is very creative and I would like to read it over and over again because it is such a good book it this was possible in real life lots of people would probably be scared because no-one ever wants to be possessed by someone who is dead and that would be a terrifying experience.

I challenge you to read this book and dare you to finish the whole book and you will be surprised.

Introduction 

Shel Silverstein born on September 25,1930 he died on May 10,1999.He was born in Chicago he was composer and a musician of songs including "A Boy Named Sue."He wrote"The Giving Tree"He has the collection A light in attic.He got most of his ideas from magazines like the winner and the tire smoke off this is which started and made him begin to write poetry.

Once there was a tree....
and she loved a little boy.
And everyday the boy would come
and he would gather her leaves
and make them into crowns
and play king of the forest.
He would climb up her trunk
and swing from her branches
and eat apples.
And they would play hide-and-go-seek.
And when he was tired,
he would sleep in her shade.
And the boy loved the tree....
very much.
And the tree was happy.
But time went by.
And the boy grew older.
And the tree was often alone.
Then one day the boy came to the tree
and the tree said, "Come, Boy, come and
climb up my trunk and swing from my
branches and eat apples and play in my
shade and be happy."
"I am too big to climb and play" said
the boy.
"I want to buy things and have fun.
I want some money?"
"I'm sorry," said the tree, "but I
have no money.
I have only leaves and apples.
Take my apples, Boy, and sell them in
the city. Then you will have money and
you will be happy."
And so the boy climbed up the
tree and gathered her apples
and carried them away.
And the tree was happy.
But the boy stayed away for a long time....
and the tree was sad.
And then one day the boy came back
and the tree shook with joy
and she said, "Come, Boy, climb up my trunk
and swing from my branches and be happy."
"I am too busy to climb trees," said the boy.
"I want a house to keep me warm," he said.
"I want a wife and I want children,
and so I need a house.
Can you give me a house ?"
" I have no house," said the tree.
"The forest is my house,
but you may cut off
my branches and build a
house. Then you will be happy."

And so the boy cut off her branches
and carried them away
to build his house.
And the tree was happy.
But the boy stayed away for a long time.
And when he came back,
the tree was so happy
she could hardly speak.
"Come, Boy," she whispered,
"come and play."
"I am too old and sad to play,"
said the boy.
"I want a boat that will
take me far away from here.
Can you give me a boat?"
"Cut down my trunk
and make a boat," said the tree.
"Then you can sail away...
and be happy."
And so the boy cut down her trunk
and made a boat and sailed away.
And the tree was happy
... but not really.

And after a long time
the boy came back again.
"I am sorry, Boy,"
said the tree," but I have nothing
left to give you -
My apples are gone."
"My teeth are too weak
for apples," said the boy.
"My branches are gone,"
said the tree. " You
cannot swing on them - "
"I am too old to swing
on branches," said the boy.
"My trunk is gone, " said the tree.
"You cannot climb - "
"I am too tired to climb" said the boy.
"I am sorry," sighed the tree.
"I wish that I could give you something....
but I have nothing left.
I am just an old stump.
I am sorry...."
"I don't need very much now," said the boy.
"just a quiet place to sit and rest.
I am very tired."
"Well," said the tree, straightening
herself up as much as she could,
"well, an old stump is good for sitting and resting
Come, Boy, sit down. Sit down and rest."
And the boy did.
And the tree was happy.

Well what I think about this poem is that it shows lots of kindness and respect the message he is trying to share is that he wants to show people that he is a good and caring person so this is a poem that shows respect.This poem kind of relates to me because  I am a kind person and I do give respect to people who deserve it.I think of this poem of a happy and sad story because of how the story goes on with the tree and the kid.

What game would you like to redesign?

Introduction

    Most people like a lot of games but most of the games that are made are not perfect and could add more things.Some games this year they have made it to feel like real life but not even those games have all the things you can do in life like jumping of a rocket which is in space wearing and wing suit and gliding all the way down to the ground which would be really cool but can't happen in games.The game I am talking about is Grand Theft Auto 5.I am not saying that it is a bad game but it would be really fun to do these things in the game and a lot of people would agree that this would make the game more realistic and more fun to play.

Opinion 

Well I think that they should make this a new feature in Grand Theft Auto 5 because it would be really fun to do things that you can't do until your older regardless of drinking or any type of bad things.But like riding military objects sky diving and other things like that.

Did Aliens Make These Statues?

Introduction 

In easter island there are these mysterious statues that no one knows how they were moved there but they are there.These statues have been there for over 1,000 years.What if aliens are real?

I believe that the aliens made this statues because how would ordinary people just like us be able to move or make these gigantic statues that is the same as holding 50 cars.So aliens must be real.

So the statues are still a mystery and most people want to know if the aliens are real or not this is why the statues are still a mystery.Will the world ever find out who made this statues or not.

Call of Duty Ghosts

     Introduction

Call of duty is a very fun game and there is lots of killing and blood.Which means this is a M rated game and that a lot of people will by this game and this game is $50 dollars I know this because I own this game.This a very good game to play with your friends.

       Opinion  

    My opinion on this game is that its really fun to play with your friends and  its a challenge and it feels like a war in the game there's explosions,gun shoots,and lots of puddles of blood so this a game for me.
